Digital X-Rays Olney, MD,

Digital X-Rays

X-Rays are used to examine the inside of your teeth. We are hoping to be able to catch any problems that we can’t see with the naked eye! Using radiology, we are able to see which teeth are developing cavities. We may also see some teeth or gum areas that may require some extra work.

3D Printing

Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) technology make it easier and more comfortable for patients to design and create dental restorations such as porcelain crowns, bridges, veneers, and implants. Traditionally, restorations were made by taking molds of your mouth, but with computer-aided technology and intraoral cameras, our office can use a 3D image of your mouth to design and manufacture your custom restoration within a single appointment.

Solea® Laser

We are excited to be able to offer our patients the Solea Laser system. Cleared by the FDA for use on hard and soft surfaces, the Solea Laser allows us to offer advanced procedures that are more precise and less invasive.

Here at Twin Dentistry, we are dedicated to providing our patients with cutting edge technology and pain-free dentistry.

The Solea Laser is a dental tool that is used in place of a drill. The laser is silent and vibration free, helping patients feel more at ease. Because the laser seals your blood vessels and nerve endings while it works, the recovery process is almost instantaneous. There is no bleeding, and stitches aren’t necessary.

Because of its numbing-like effect, patients who have been treated with the Solea Laser have experienced no pain, eliminating the need for anesthetics or sedation. Patients no longer have to experience numbness or that “fat lip” feeling.

The Solea Laser allows the dentist to offer precise treatment quickly and can have you in and out of the chair in no time. Your dentist may even be able to do multiple treatments at once so you don’t have to schedule multiple visits. The patient saves time and experiences a speedy recovery.

If you have any questions about lasers in dentistry or the Solea Laser, don’t hesitate to contact us today at (301) 774-2474.
